ASTRONOMICAL TOUR Enjoy a one-of-a-kind experience at the Mamalluca Observatory Astronomical Tour! This fascinating experience is designed to bring you closer to the mysterious and majestic universe that surrounds us. Upon arrival, you will be welcomed with an introductory naked-eye astronomy talk led by an expert astronomical guide. The experience then continues with telescope observations using 12-inch manual telescopes. You will also have the opportunity to enter Mamalluca’s iconic dome, where you will observe the night sky through a 16-inch digital telescope—an unforgettable experience that allows you to immerse yourself in the magic of being inside an astronomical observatory. At Mamalluca, you will discover the secrets of the cosmos in an engaging and accessible way 🌚🌟. Throughout the session, our specialized guides will share knowledge about constellations, planets, and galaxies, while also explaining the importance of astronomy in Chilean culture and history. The presentation is designed so that everyone—from beginners to astronomy enthusiasts—can enjoy content that is clear, inspiring, and easy to understand. 🔭 Tour Duration: Approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes ⏱️ Tour Includes: Astronomical presentation Observation with 12-inch Dobson Truss telescopes Observation inside the dome with a 16-inch digital telescope Prices: 🎟️ General Admission: CLP $15,000 🚗 Transportation is not included. Important Information: Please remember to reserve and purchase your tickets at least one hour before the tour begins. Tickets must be purchased at our sales office located inside the Bauer Tower, across from Vicuña’s Main Square 🌄. The office can be accessed from the intersection of San Martín Street No. 275 and Gabriela Mistral Street No. 270. Payment is accepted only at the sales office; it is not possible to pay at the Observatory. Completing this process is mandatory in order to participate in the tour. We look forward to welcoming you!
